We took the Boca Custom 17ft down to Flamingo, Florida over the weekend to see if we could find any redfish. After nearly getting skunked for the day we finally spotted a redfish and were able to hook it up, it definitely wasn't massive by any stretch of imagination..... but was within the slot. Flamingo is an awesome flats fishing spot that is just what the Boca Custom Flats Boat was designed for, due to it's shallow water fishing spots. Go check this place out if you can!!
Also if you go out fishing in Flamingo we recommend using a weedless rig since there is so much grass along the sea floor, if you don't use one of these you will spend most of your day pulling grass off your rig.
